Australian Quilt Market - Sydney
A date for your diary - AQM 2012
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June, 2012
Armed with 13 years of experience in delivering the Southern Hemisphere’s largest and most comprehensive patchwork and quilting wholesale trade event – AQM – Australian Quilt Market launches its first Sydney trade show in the heart of the harbourside city. Namely the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT), which is the premier location for our Sydney city launch with breath-taking views of Circular Quay, the Opera House and the acclaimed Sydney Harbour Bridge.
There are numerous hotels and restaurants located in and around the historic Rocks precinct, which is just a few minutes walk from the Circular Quay Railway Station with a direct rail link into both the Domestic and International Airport Passenger Terminals.
A pleasant 15 minute rail journey will see you alight at Circular Quay with ferry services to Taronga Zoo, Manly and many other tourist locations nearby.
The city centre with international shops and theatres is but a short bus journey away.
The Australian Quilt Market has been the prime venue to view and buy the very latest in patchwork, fabrics, professional quilting machines, threads, notions, patterns, beading and accessories. The market offers access to hundreds of internationally renowned manufacturers and converters.

We are continuing with the overwhelming success of the “Show & Tell” Workshops in the morning prior to the market opening on each day. The classrooms are located near the Registration area in the Arrivals Hall.
Exhibitors participating in “Show & Tell” will be on our website early April. It is free to attend the market* and, if you would like to attend the “Show & Tell” classes, there is a one-off fee of $11.00 (incl. GST/person) for a 2 day pass to visit as many of the classes as you wish.
Upon receipt of your registration, we will forward your Name Badges within 7 to 10 days. The new broadsheet of the event and a handy AQM tote bag may be collected at the registration desk. Although we have allocated sufficient seating, attendance to the classes is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis; so the “early bird” gets the seat.
The AQM Café will provide light meals/snacks and hot/cold drinks. So, join the market leaders for hundreds of new ideas and products for your business.
